Katie Gaudreau was preparing for what was meant to be the happiest day of her life, set to marry her fiancé Devin Joyce in a private family ceremony.
The couple had just finished their rehearsal on Thursday night when tragedy struck, leading to the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Katie's brothers. In response to this unimaginable grief, Katie and Devin decided to cancel their wedding ceremony to focus on mourning with their family.
For the first time since the tragic event, Katie has spoken out, taking to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her late brothers, expressing the deep love and bond they shared. In her post, she wrote,
"There are absolutely no words to express the bond my family shared. This will never be a goodbye post because we will never stop saying your names and honoring you both."
Katie also made a promise to take care of their family in their memory. Our thoughts remain with Katie, her family, and all those affected by this senseless tragedy.
